Talisman Sunil Chhetri equalled the iconic Lionel Messi with his 80th international strike when India beat Nepal 3-0 in their eighth SAFF Championship title.
Second-half goals were scored by Chhetri (49th minute), Suresh Singh and Sahal Abdul Samad .

The 28 year old Indian Fencer Bhavani Devi won the Charlellville National Competition in France in the women’s individual sabre event.
Fencer Bhavani Devi, who was the first Indian to compete in the sport at the Tokyo Olympics , made India proud again by winning the Charlellville National Competition in France in the individual women’s sabre event.
